Hope for Humanity is a non-profit organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue code. All donations are tax deductible. We are based in Richmond, Virginia. Our mission is to develop future leaders of southern Sudan by providing the youth with educational opportunities.

How Can I Help? Hope for Humanity is a registered 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization: all donations are tax deductible. A financial gift of any amount is appreciated. Following are some ideas on what your gift can provide:

• $35 buys one student lunch for one month
• $75 buys textbooks for one student for 1 year
• $125 buys a desk which seats two students
• $225 buys lunch for one student for 1 year
• $1,200 provides a scholarship for one student for 1 year

DOUBLE YOUR GIFT: If you work for a company that offers a Matching Gift Program, please send us the proper application along with your donation and we will do the paperwork for you. Your company will match your donation dollar for dollar.

DONATE A GIFT OF STOCK: Because the total value of the appreciated stock upon transfer is tax deductible, and you will not have to pay any capital gains taxes on the appreciation, giving a gift of stock is a great way to donate to Hope for Humanity.
