Kharibino Mayom Mapuorope a 2011 graduate became one of South Sudan's school teachers.

Kharibino was one of the first graduates at Hope and Resurrection School in 2011.   He continued his education at Yei Teacher Training College (YTTC) in Yei, South Sudan.  And, is now teaching biology at Savannah High School.

Kharibino, in his own words:

"When I graduated from Hope and Resurrection Secondary School, I knew there was no way my mother could afford university tuition. Life was difficult when we were young. My father died when I was only one year old and my mother brewed local alcohol to support my early education. But I also knew that with God nothing is impossible, so I started praying for a chance to study further. God answered my prayer. That is why I am here today at Yei Teacher Training College. My vision is to develop my full potential by obtaining a degree in education, if God wills. My second motto is to change my community by giving quality education to children and improve the life of my mother and brothers. I want to reflect what has been done for me by also doing good for others."

"I know that one can experience good life if God is the head; so I put Him first."
